How to Create a New Playlist

00:00: This tutorial guides you through creating a new playlist in the 22 miles digital

00:11: Click the content section to access your media and playlists.

00:16: Click the playlist option to manage existing playlists or create

00:21: Click the new button to begin creating a new playlist.

00:25: Click playlists to specify that you want to create a new playlist.

00:30: Type in a name for your New Playlist.

00:32: Click save to store the new playlist information.

00:36: Click the designated area to begin. Adding content to your playlist.

00:41: Click add to include New Media items in your playlist.

00:45: Upload files, Add Media from the Media library, Add Media

00:50: by URL, or Add Dynamic Slides.

00:54: Add an existing media file or upload a new file.

00:58: Cook browse files to locate and select media files on your computer.

01:03: Click done to finish uploading your selected media files.

01:08: Click the checkbox in the top left corner of the file to add.

01:12: Click Select to choose the uploaded media for inclusion in the playlist.

01:17: Regular will be the default priority. Using High will override

01:21: the regular content for a designated time.

01:24: Low can be used for a backup piece of content that will show when nothing else is scheduled.

01:30: Duration is how long each file displays. This will default to 5

01:34: seconds for still images and 1 repeat for a video file.

01:37: The scale will default to a Fill

01:40: Click Custom to define a custom Duration and Scale.

01:44: Enter in the number of seconds for the duration.

01:47: Choose from the list of scaling options.

01:49: The Always schedule will be selected by default.

01:53: Click Time Range to schedule when the media should be Start and End.

01:58: Click the designated area to set your start date.

02:01: Deselect the "No End" to be able to designate an End Date.

02:06: Click the designated area to set your end date.

02:10: Set a more specific schedule using the recurrence pattern option.

02:14: Set a specific Daily, Weekly, or Monthly recurrence pattern.

02:19: Click add schedule to apply the configured playback schedule to your playlist.

02:23: You will see your new content added to the playlist.

02:27: You have successfully created and configured a new playlist and 22

02:31: miles digital signage, including adding media and setting playback schedules.
